Look at this Stuff, Isn't it Neat?
A take on the classic fairy tale "The Little Mermaid", this ocean scene a character similar to Ariel from the popular Disney film. Like Ariel, this little mermaid is fascinated by her bounty of lost and found man-made items. Unlike the glamorous grotto, this ocean cave is filled with plastic trash and waste that will remain there indefinitely. “Look at this Stuff, Isn’t it Neat?” is both a reference to the song Ariel sings in Disney’s Little Mermaid film and a call to action to protect the fragile ocean ecosystem.

This piece was created using India Ink on watercolor paper.
