While out for a beach run at Torrey Pines, I came up on this beautiful Osprey sitting on what I thought was a rock. Normally we see these amazing large wing-spanned birds soaring above the cliffs at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. It took me a minute to realize he was protecting his meal as I got closer. His eyes followed me until I passed him. Such a cool and rare moment.
